While there were many highlights of the event, what
caught our attention was Kiran Rao’s apprehension about Aamir doing the role.
Well yes, Aamir Khan revealed how initially, Kiran was
against the idea of Aamir playing the music director, Shakti who is an
extremely creepy man. She felt it wasn’t the right role for Aamir, especially
after Dangal, where he played a father and an Olympic winner.

In fact, Aamir was also not very confident about playing
the role. Aamir said, "I did not see myself as the character Shakti Kumar
but still I did a screen test - it was a challenge for me to play this
character. While I was giving the test, I enjoyed playing the character. When
we saw the screen test all of us laughed and I decided to do it."
Adding to it, the lead actress of the film, Zaira Wasim
said, "I was shocked to see Aamir Khan as Shakti Kumar and I kept
laughing on sets when I was supposed to react to the dialogues."
Not just this, Aamir Khan also revealed about Kiran Rao's
acting skills. He said, "Kiran is a fantastic actor. When she was filming
Dhobi Ghat, she enacted Yasmin's part at times. I told her many times to play
that part but she didn't hear."

to it, Aamir replied, "As far my understanding goes, CBFC is
essentially meant to grade films."
Aamir Khan also spoke about the recent controversy about
children participating in reality shows. He said,"Honestly, I have not seen any of the shows. But it
cuts both ways, there are kids who are talented and need that platform but then
one should not over do it and rob them of their childhood."
Lastly, he also named the real superstars of Bollywood,
which included names of stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman
Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif.
